This weekend Chris & I celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary! And what a great year it has been! Here's a quick run-down of a few of the highlights:
- Missing our flight to Hawaii for our honeymoon by 10 minutes and ending up flying to San Fransisco for a quick night in the city before flying to Maui the next day.
- Once getting to Hawaii, having to figure out where our checked luggage ended up and track it down. (we ended up buying new swimsuits at Costco, so we could lay by the pool until they found our luggage)
- Forgetting to take the camera to Hawaii on our honeymoon!
- Chris losing his wedding ring in the ocean on day 4 in Hawaii.
- Still having an absolutley incredible time in Hawaii!!
- Having to call the jeweler and re-order the exact same ring in the exact same size just 3 weeks after purchasing it.
- Snowmobiling
- Lots of golf
- Going to Chicago to see "Wicked" for my birthday. INCREDIBLE!
- Sitting right behind Reverend Jesse Jackson at the Memorial Day Chicago Cubs game.
- Jazz playoffs!!! "Can you see me...I'm the one in the baby blue t-shirt"
- Eating ice cream at Fenway Park during a Red Sox game on the 4th of July. It doesnt get more American than that!
- The yellow/orange Mustang convertible that we got stuck with in Maine.
- Quitting my "real" job to not have to travel so much and being able to spend more time at home.
- BYU football games - what a great season!
- Chris scratching my back every night, listening about my day.
- Still being able to go on "girl trips" with my friends and have sleepovers at my moms.
- St Louis Rams football game. Chris has tried hard to get me to love them as much as he always has, but its a little hard to jump on board with a team that started the season 0-8 and finished 3-13. Better luck next year!
- "It's not wrong....it's just different"
- Having someone that you love to come home to every night.
- No more "Kim, party of one....Kim, party of one"
- The incredible sunsets and city views from our condo. (we'll miss these a lot!)
- Buying our first house!!
- Preparing to start a family.
But, most of all the continual recognition of how very lucky and blessed I am to have this wonderful, thoughtful, kind, compassionate, genuine, postive, supportive, faithful, hardworking man as my husband for all eternity.
I love you baby!

the blog is freakin awesome. It is lots of fun to see. It is amazing how your life has changed in such a short time. It seems like just yesterday you were living with us, and then telling us about a guy you met that seemed pretty cool. Little did we know that he was more than cool, he was amazing. Love you both!!!
I LOVE YOU TWO TOGETHER! I can't believe it's been over a year that you and I pretended to bump in to each other in the parking lot of Circut City, so that I could check Chris out. He was darling and I liked him instantly! You form a great partnership and I feel blessed by knowing you both! Yea Johnson family! xoxoxoxoAimo
