Nice *spring*ish days have been few and far between around here this year. I have felt a little bit like if I blink when the sun is shining... I just might miss it. Really, I've sort of felt like that about spring in general this year.
I have been anxious to get downtown to enjoy the beautiful spring flowers, which let's be honest, is one of my favorite things about one of my favorite places. There haven't been many days lately even remotely worthy of any degree of enjoyable outdoor time...but yesterday was beautiful so before we could blink... we were off!!
We met Leah's boyfriend Sawyer and his cute mama Allisen and started things off right with an amazing lunch at the Blue Lemon. It didn't hurt my feelings that they just so happened to be celebrating their 1st anniversary and rewarding guests with delicious, free cookies.

free+cookies=one of my favorite combinations.

After enjoying the fountains at City Creek, we were off to enjoy the spectacular spring sights, smells and sounds of Temple Square and the surrounding church grounds. It really was so beautiful!

The breeze was blowing.
The birds were chirping.
The sky was mostly blue.
The grass was freshly cut.
The flowers were in full bloom.
The backdrop was as breathtaking as ever.
And my little babyroo was at my side.
As good as it gets?
I certainly think so!
And the best part was these 2 cute babies...
I'm pretty sure Leah loves this boy already.

Just 4 days a part... they were born to be buddies.
Can you even stand how cute they are staring at each other? I mean come on!GAWWW!

And then they both look at us as if to say...
"seriously mom, you're embarrassing me!"
