I really wish that my birthday hadn't already passed because I really, really want these. As I was doing a little online browsing on my cute cousin's wedding registry, I stumbled upon these pretty little things from C & B that just happen to be on sale. It was love at first sight. I love that they're beautiful, yet simple. I also love that there's a perfect little ridge in the "ruffle" that you could tie a pretty little ribbon around to fancy them up just a bit.

oh good heavens! For $12 you don't need an "event" do you?! Just buy them for yourself! You deserve them! They are soooo cute! I think I might just go ahead & buy them. Even though I've only made the kind of cake that would go on it ONCE! (your yummy recipe) and I've never made cupcakes!
