Me & My Handsome Gentleman Friend!

Many of you don't know this handsome guy that I am lucky enough to be standing next to! I truly feel blessed to have found him. We have been married for almost a year now (wow, how time flies) and it has been one of the greatest years of my life! Chris, like me, is a Utah native and comes from a really great family! He is the youngest of 5 with a twin sister. His parents weren't expecting twins and his dad jokes that he has been trying to send him back ever since! I am pretty dang glad that the big fellow has a strict: "No Return Policy".

We met at the driving range (long story) and hit it off almost immediately. I think that we were looking at rings and talking about the future within only about 10 days. I thought (and pretty much still think) that this guy was absolutely too good to be true! There had to be something wrong with him, why was he still on the market? Even stranger, how could somebody who had managed to stay completely unattached for 34 long years, suddenly be in love and want to marry me after just 2 weeks? I mean, I know that I am great and all......but come on, it's still pretty unbelievable! I knew almost immediately that Chris was the kind of man that I wanted to marry and even told my sister that we would either be engaged or "finished" by Christmas (we met October 5th). Well, I am happy to say that I landed this amazing guy even sooner than expected and we were engaged on November 7th, 2006 less than 5 weeks after meeting! (It sounds so crazy...even to us!)

We were married on February 3rd, 2007 and I thank my Heavenly Father every single day for bringing him into my life. He really is an answer to my prayers and he constantly makes me want to be a better person. He is the hardest working, most sincere, genuine and consistent person that I have ever met! He is one of the greatest blessings in my life!

If you don't know already know him...you should!

(By the way....Chris is still a little unsure of this blog thing....his only request was that I not to write anything incriminating about us. Apparently, he thinks that the feds will read our blog and find us???) :)
